Every answer here rests on the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah. Hadiths are verified before citation; only sahih or hasan narrations are quoted, with full references (book, chapter, number). Weak or fabricated reports are never used as evidence.
Texts are explained in light of the understanding of the righteous predecessors and the research of verified scholars. Where scholars differ, the view supported by the strongest evidence is adopted.
In disputed questions the evidence, not partisanship, decides; the less-preponderant view is also mentioned honestly so the questioner sees the full picture.
In technical medical, legal or financial matters the answer is confined to Shariah principles, and the questioner is directed to the relevant specialist (doctor, lawyer, accountant) for specifics. Sensitive matters, such as disputes before a court, may be redirected to a written istifta.
A questioner's name and personal details are never published; questions are shortened or reworded where needed.
If an error in any answer is pointed out, it is corrected in light of the evidence — returning to the truth is part of this institution's methodology.
